Saddlerock Ranch Rustically Inspired Malibu Wedding

As the saying goes, “the mountains are calling, and I must go…” and boy did we feel that at Lauren and Peter’s rustically inspired mountain wedding! With wide-open skies and gorgeous backdrops of the surrounding Malibu mountains, this scene at the incredible Saddlerock Ranch was one that hardly needed help dressing.

In order to elevate the natural beauty of this location, we stuck with lots of greens, whites, and some blushy pinks in our floral selections. They easily paired with the airiness this venue had to offer, making both the ceremony and reception feel very light and romantic.

Starting with this incredible floral arch seen above, Lauren and Peter were married beneath a band of our lovely rose florals that were given their form by this exquisitely aged, whitewashed wood. This created the perfect framing for the unbelievable views behind them and provided the foundation for their rustically inspired Malibu wedding.

The spectacular views from this day certainly did not end there. For the reception, long, wooden tables helped to extend the landscape and ensure that each guest had a memorable seat to take in the stunning backdrop. Atop the tables were flowy white runners with our centerpieces scattering the length of the tables.

In addition, round tables topped with velvety pink tablecloths offered a variation in shape as well as texture, and the perfect pop of color! Both versions of the seating paired so beautifully with the rustic woods of the tables and chairs, and felt so very natural in this setting!

As we wrapped up the day with a beautiful and delicious cake from The Butter End, the entire reception was encompassed with beautiful twinkly lights. This was the perfect transition as the day dwindled into the evening hours, and the romance they carried was simply undeniable.
