Last month we had the opportunity to design this styled shoot at Palos Verdes Golf Club (PVGC)! PVGC is currently undergoing renovations and to highlight its beautiful garden we styled an outdoor ceremony with a reception table. Continue reading below to see how we used a neutral color palette to beautify Palos Verdes Golf Club’s ocean view garden.
For this shoot, two different ceremony designs were created in order to display the garden’s creative diversity. The first design included a rustic floral wall while the second was styled around the venue’s arch. For the ceremony’s seating, Chameleon Chair Collection provided its gold Bella Fleur style with ivory cushions. The gold accent color was also seen in the reception table’s design. We provided gold candelabras that matched the gold flatware from Bright Event Rentals. The table’s design was a pink and gold style that included a tall and short floral centerpiece. These pink florals balanced the neutral tones of Luxe Linen’s french velvet linen that was contrasted by Bright’s pink china. The table’s flower centerpieces and floral backdrop created a romantic garden feel wedding.
“We wanted to create a garden feel in the beautiful lawn area with the ocean backdrop. We decided to keep the flowers somewhat neutral but playing with different tones of corals and mauves for something different but not too loud.”
Some of the flowers used for this shoot included: Juliet garden roses, Amnesia roses, Sahara spray roses, Tulips, Ivory majolicas, Golden Mustard roses. While greenery like Maidenhair, Italian Ruscus and Southern Smilax accentuated the florals. All these elements came together to create a romantic garden wedding styled shoot.
