Newport Beach Wedding Full of Tropical Romance

What a joy it was to be part of Matt and Lexy’s Newport Beach Wedding at Shorebird last October! Their wedding proves that even in the fall, you can bet on the glorious weather in Orange County to be on your side no matter the month or season. Located right in the harbor, Shorebird offers an intimate and super chic event space for those looking for a non-traditional venue option. The amazing thing about choosing a restaurant that already has great ambiance and style is that you can personalize the space by simply choosing florals and decor details that’ll personalize it a bit to your taste!

Lexy and Matt chose floral designs and decor that exuded tropical romance and capitalized on the modern elements of the venue space. The ceremony took place on the outdoor patio which was long and narrow to provide privacy and beautiful views of the harbor. Gold Chiavari chairs lined both sides of the aisle leading to a gold circular arch where the couple would exchange vows. The arch was covered in large monstera leaves and white orchids to give it that tropical romantic feel. Lexy carried a large bouquet of matching florals as she walked down the aisle to say “I do”.

The reception then moved into the Shorebird where the restaurant tables and booths were utilized for guest seating. Candlelight filled the tabletops along with centerpieces that ranged from low and lush to tall and bold. It was a truly beautiful and unique celebration for the sweetest couple and we are so grateful to have helped create some magic for their Newport Beach wedding!
