Romantic, elegant, and whimsical – just some of the words we would describe this gorgeous seaside wedding at Montage Laguna. In shades of blush and coral, this wedding was definitely one of our favorites from this season that we designed. We loved working alongside Stylish Details to bring Nancy and Bob’s wedding dreams come true. A big thank you to Taylor Kinzie Photography for capturing photos and Memo Collective for filming the beautiful day.
The ceremony space was breathtaking on its own with an expansive view of the Pacific Ocean. We decided to complement this seaside wedding space with contrasting shades of blush and coral to really make the flowers pop. We designed a simple arch with overflowing rose florets, hoary stock, and greenery. We added aisle arrangements alongside the chairs to work in more flowers and color to the space. The photos of the bride all dolled up by Kelly Zhang Studio walking down the aisle to her forever love with the backdrop and flowers were absolutely stunning!
To say we are obsessed with the reception design would be an understatement. We brought the seaside wedding inside and there were so many details we do not even know where to begin. We dressed each guest table up with a tall centerpiece that was the same floral composition from the ceremony. The greenery contrasted perfectly with blush and coral florets. We loved that Montage Laguna’s ballroom had these gold chandeliers that filled the space of the ceiling even more.
For the head table, the couple decided on a long romantic table with the prettiest blush suede chairs. We featured low and lush centerpieces lining the middle of the table and added a plethora of candles to give it the most romantic glow. The menu from Created By Queena, crystal glassware and hand-tied napkins from Adore Folklore and Catalog Atelier made the whole tablescape even more whimsical.
While all details were absolutely stunning, our favorites were the cake table and bar area. We could not just pick one! We decorated the cake table with overflowing flowers from the cake to the base. We added so many details around the cake that it looked like the cake was organically growing out of the table. The blush glassware and china were the perfect touch of color to tie everything together. And of course, the bar was just as full of detail and love! We even added additional greenery to the bar back to make sure no area was left untouched. No wedding is complete with cake and a bar – we made sure to shine light and love on our favorite areas!
With the whole space decorated to the nines, Second Song got the party started and going until midnight by providing the best music and a photo booth for the guests. We are so honored to have been a part of this beautiful seaside wedding celebration. Cheers to the happy couple!
