Southern California Bride Features Mediterranean Inspired Shoot at LaVenta Inn

Our ocean blue meets Mediterranean architecture-styled photoshoot has been featured on Southern California Bride and we’re so excited to share all the details! We worked with A Signature Wedding as our event designer and La Venta Inn for the venue for this whimsical and sophisticated design. We could not have done this without the whole creative though. A big thank you to Lauren Cate Photography for photographing all the magic!

We wanted to capture the blues of the ocean coupled with the Mediterranean architecture of the indoors filled with dark wood and gold accents. The linen from BBJ La Tavola perfectly bridged these two worlds together. We highlighted the yellows and golds in the florals and accented them with blues and black design elements. We could not get enough of the beauty of our orange and yellow garden roses, we wanted to make sure they were noticed at every turn. We added some dark purple scabiosa to play with the contrast.

The dramatically designed florals were whimsical and played with a cascading look throughout. The black urns popped in a little edginess and sophistication, which complimented the venue La Venta Inn and cane back chairs from Bright Event Rentals perfectly.

All details were thoughtfully put together. The food from Made by Meg, stationery from Plated PV, cake from Vanilla Bake Shop, and attire from Casablanca Bridal and Friar Tux all played an integral part in bringing to life this unique vision called “Mediterranean Cascades On The Palos Verdes Cliffs.” We could honestly say we would like to stay here forever!
