Moody Romantic Ebell Long Beach Wedding

When it comes to historic event venues, Ebell Long Beach takes the cake in Southern California! Its black and white tiled courtyard, Spanish revival architecture, and stylish furnishings have made it become absolutely iconic and memorable. While some couples choose to go classic and timeless in this venue, others lean into Ebell Long Beach’s versatility and go big and bold, and we are so thrilled to have helped Francisco and Lilliam bring their moody romantic wedding to life in this incredible space!

For the ceremony in Ebell Long Beach’s skylit courtyard, we adorned the large archway that would frame the nuptials in tons of dark florals, greenery, pampas grass, and pops of pink. Arrangements perched on gold stands would also frame the entrance to the aisle where Lilliam would walk towards her eagerly awaiting groom. Our bride was absolutely stunning in a fitted gown paired with a classic lace-trimmed veil and a bouquet with all of the moody romantic floral elements also seen in the florals covering the courtyard archway. The two said “I do” in the most stylish and romantic setting while surrounded by all of their loved ones.

The celebration continued with a beautiful reception held in Ebell’s ballroom where a grand fireplace and rich, dark wainscoting on the walls set the stage for an elegant affair. Guest tables were a combination of black wooden rectangular tables and round tables draped in black linens. The centerpieces on the long rectangular tables were elevated high above the tabletop on gold structures while the round tables boasted intimate, smaller arrangements. The combination of florals, feathers, and pampas grass made a striking visual effect throughout the reception space and added to the moody romantic vibes. The newly pronounced husband and wife dined together at their sweetheart table before spending the evening dancing together on the black and white tiled courtyard dancefloor.
