Blush and Navy Hued Balboa Bay Club Wedding

We absolutely loved working with Ani and Max for their Balboa Bay Club wedding. The backdrop of the venue was absolutely stunning and together with our vendor team, this one is definitely one for the books. We are so grateful that Brandon Kidd Photography beautifully captured all the romantic details for their perfect day.

Ani and Max tied the knot outside under a square arch festooned with Italian ruscus, lemon leaf greenery, and rose blooms in shades of blush and peach. The aisle entry featured beautiful large stone urns with florals matching the arch. The backdrop of Balboa Bay complimentary flawlessly with the bride in her All That Glitters wedding gown and her bridesmaids in their navy long dresses. The men looked just as handsome in their The Black Tux and ranunculus boutonniere. And of course, their sweet puppy also made an appearance with a little lace bandana.

The floral arch from the ceremony was repurposed as the couple’s head table backdrop. We love to see a good repurpose moment especially when the flowers were such a statement piece. We completed the table with bud vases and a lush garland with a mix of greenery that festooned the table, seemingly growing over the sides and sweeping to the ground.

We dressed up the rest of the reception with wooden details from Archive Rentals, romantic candles and even blue chiffon runners from Stephanie’s Linen for all the wooden tables. We mixed suspended floral centerpieces that ran along the length of each table with low and lush pieces for all the round tables that were just as romantic. To complete the reception space, Five Star AV added bistro lighting as the finishing touch so that DJ Aymo could get the crowd to celebrate for the rest of the night.

Guests dined, drank and sweetened the night with the most perfectly elegant tiered wedding cake from Beckers Bakery And Deli with little florets. The couple even had their own personalized cake cutter set; it was so sweet! Everyone celebrated together with Ani and Max, and danced till the very end.
