Seaside Romantics at Surf and Sand Resort

Located in Laguna Beach, California, the Surf and Sand Resort offers breathtaking ocean views and a super chic ambiance. Our lovely couple Ashley + Brent were married at Surf and Sand Resort last August on the Catalina Terrace and it could not have been more beautiful! The Catalina Terrace at Surf and Sand Resort is the venue’s largest outdoor wedding space and it served as the perfect location for Ashley and Brent’s ceremony and reception. Our stunning bride went with a classic all-white bouquet and Brent donned a complimentary boutonierre on his navy blue suit. Their ceremony featured a jaw dropping view of the Pacific Ocean behind the ceremony site which could be seen through the glass panneled rails surrounding the terrace. The ceremony aisle was framed by two tall topiaries which welcomes the bride down the aisle towards her awaiting groom. For the ceremony, we created a circular floral display filled with lush greenery and blush and ivory florals. This circular design would later double as a backdrop to the newlywed’s sweetheart table during the reception! Ashley and Brent said “I do” in front of their loved ones with the ocean ebbing and flowing in the background. 

After exchanging vows, the cermeony space was flipped into a beautiful al fresco reception. Candlelight and florals covered the sweetheart table and guests dined at round tables paired with wood chairs, gold beaded chargers, and beautiful floral centerpieces. The celebration continued as the sun set over the ocean, what a memorable day for such a lovely couple!
