Modern Romance at The Harper

Captured beautifully by West Imagery, Jaimee and Nick’s August nuptials at The Harper in Costa Mesa, Califronia were full of modern romance! The Harper’s romantic courtyard filled with lush greenery and urban architecture were the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and reception. See more below!

For the ceremony, an arbor draped in white linens and accented with greens and white florals was the focal point of the ceremony. Guests watched our lovely bride and groom exchange vows from their seats on either side of the aisle which were modern acrlyic ghost chairs. Large brass lanterns and white pillars with overflowing floral arrangements framed the aisle, welcoming the bride as she walked towards her groom who would become her husband shortly.

The courtyard space was then transformed into a breathtaking reception where touches of modern romance ruled the design. Wooden tables were paired with the clear ghost chairs previously used for the ceremony and gold rimmed chargers and candlelight filled the tabletops. Height and texture was added to the design of the reception by way of our centerpieces which were elevated high above the tabletops. The rich greenery and pops of white florals in these centerpieces added points of visual interest across the outdoor reception space. The newlyweds enjoyed the celebration from their sweetheart table and the ceremony arbor was repurposed to serve as a beautiful backdrop to their table setup.
