Ultra Chic Athenaeum Wedding in Pasadena

Almost exactly two years ago in the Spring of 2019, we were honored to be part of Kate and Hernan’s ultra chic Athenaeum wedding in Pasadena. The Athenaeum at Caltech is a beloved venue that we love working at. With its Mediterranean architecture and sophisticated details. the space is already incredibly romantic and adding our floral touches just enhances the beauty!

Kate and Hernan were married on a beautiful day in April of 2019. Their ceremony took place in a sunny outdoor space at the Athenaeum where spectacular columns and rounded archways framed the backdrop of this romantic moment. The two said “I do” on the patio steps while flanked by an American flag and Argentinian flag, paying homage to both of Kate and Hernan’s cultures. Guests were seated just below the steps and the aisle was lined with low arrangements full of greenery, and timeless all-white arrangement elevated on modern gold platforms. Kate was an absolute vision of beauty in her chic Alon Livne White bridal gown which was complemented by her spring-inspired bridal bouquet.

The newlyweds were then whisked away for portraits with Molly Lichten Photography, keep scrolling for a look at the beauty she captured all around the Athenaeum! A timeless reception filled with white florals and gold accents awaited Kate and Hernan in the West Patio. The venue’s columns and portico provide a breathtaking ambiance to begin with, so we worked with HoneyFitz Events to both complement and elevate the space with ivory and cream florals and sophisticated touches! The newlyweds spent the evening dining and dancing in the company of their loved ones and we are so grateful to have been part of their special day.
