This year has been full of ups and downs and unknowns, but one thing that is for sure is that connection through social media was more important for us all this year than any other year before. Beyond funny memes and dance videos were the opportunity to connect over this shared experience and maybe bond over a shared love of looking at really pretty things that make us smile and inspire us creatively!

10. As seen earlier this year on California Wedding Day, Christine and Michael’s Casa Romantica wedding was full of bold, beautiful hues! It’s no wonder this floating centerpiece was well received, it’s one of our favorite moments of the year too!

9. Also from Christine and Michael’s coastal California wedding, this tablescape shot takes the 9th spot in the top moments of 2020! With lights gleaming in the backdrop and a tight focus on the colorful centerpiece set against navy linens, this image captured by Full Spectrum Photography steals our hearts as well!

8. We recently revisited this Rancho Las Lomas wedding on Instagram and it was so fun to relive the details! These beautiful arrangements were featured on tiered modern structures accompanied by candlelight and gold geometric details, creating a memorable moment at the beginning of the aisle for the ceremony.

7. Romance was alive and well at Mallory and Bobby’s Serra Plaza reception! We decked out the courtyard fountain in cascading blooms and rich green leafs and filled the reception tabletops with tropical romance!

6. Another stunner at Casa Romantica! Anna and Ryan’s wedding was captivating and full of the most gorgeous details! We loved the rich tones used in their floral designs with hints of feathers for added texture and variety. Set against white linens, dark teal napkins, and brown wood chairs, the centerpieces stole the show!

5. This warm and beautiful welcome for guests of Mallory + Bobby’s wedding was surrounded by candlelight and a small, but impactful floral moment! Sometimes small, thoughtful details go a long way in pulling the design together!

4. Taking love to new heights with these elevated centerpieces captured by Ashley Paige Photography! We love varying the heights and structure of centerpieces on tabletops across the reception space to add variety and points of visual interest. This moment captures a perfect example of that!

3. The caption speaks for itslef… it does not get much more California than this! Palm trees and an ocean view for Ashley + James’ gorgeous wedding with Pure Lavish Events!

2. Coming in the number two spot was this spectacular reception shot of Caley + Ben’s wedding at Caltech Athenaeum! The venue already has a really elegant ambiance about it and adding tons of greenery and lush white florals with gold decor accents just put the elegance over the top! 1. Last but not least, the top moment of 2020 was this gorgeous shot by Tony Wodarck of a tropical boutonniere on one of our grooms! Their wedding at Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano was beautifully elegant with touches of tropical details and was featured on Wedding Chicks earlier in the year! (Click HERE to for the feature)
