Grey Likes Weddings Features Tropical Wedding hosted at La Quinta Country Club

We are excited to share that Grey Likes Weddings featured this Tropical Wedding hosted at La Quinta Country Club in Palm Springs! La Quinta Country Club was founded in 1959 and is considered one of the finest clubs of the desert valley with 37,000 square feet and a Santa Barbara Style Clubhouse. The wedding was planned by Honey Fitz Events, a full-service design and event planning firm based out of Los Angeles. This wedding included greenery details that brought a tropical paradise to the desert valley!

The ceremony took place in the gardens of the country club with stunning views of the Santa Rosa mountains. Mahogany chairs created the aisle as a wooden arch awaited at the end. The arch was decorated with a white sheet that was filled with tropical greenery including Calathea Leaves, Monstera Leaves, and Italian Ruscus. White florals of anemone, spray roses, and Garden roses decorated the arch as hanging amaranthus flowed from the arrangements. The bouquet that the bride carried coordinated with the arch. It was full of greenery with white florals including Garden Roses and Anemone, as hanging amaranthus brought the whole bouquet together. The floral design seen during the ceremony would continue throughout the wedding reception in the centerpieces of the celebration.

The reception took place in the Eisenhower Pavilion. The room had a large black and white dance floor in the center as tables surrounded it. Above the dance floor hung a white floral chandelier as lights strings connected to it. The tables were decorated with black chairs and white linens with glass and golden details decorating the top. Guest tables were adorned with centerpieces full of greenery, white spray roses, and anemone. While the table of honor included an incredible floral bridge lined up across the table as it was held up by golden stands. The floral bridge overflowed with greenery including Italian Ruscus, Monsterra Leaves, Calathea Leaves, and Fern Leaves. Hanging amaranthus flowed from the sides as white florals of Hydrangeas, Graden roses and, Anemone completed this floral bridge. Below were small arrangements of greenery and white roses that completed the look.

With so much beauty in each arrangement, this truly was a tropical paradise for the newlywed’s celebration!
